Our leisure time care facility (SFO) is located in Frihuset, which houses students from kindergarten class to the 4th grade. The house is located next to the school near the sports ground and the forest. Previously, Frihuset was used as a janitor residence, but now it is the ideal location for our SFO.
Frihuset is equipped with two entrances, one for the staff and one for children and their parents. The door on the left is the main entrance. Frihuset has two wardrobes; a children's toilet and a toilet suitable for grown ups; a movie room / relaxation room; a living room with a dining area, a sofa and a play corner; a kitchen; and a staff wardrobe.
The close proximity to the forest offers great opportunities for outdoor activities such as our bonfire site, which is regularly used. The SFO also takes advantage of the facilities in the school’s basement, which include a game room with a PlayStation, board games, pool table, air hockey and table tennis; a creative space with room for contemplation and unfolding creative ideas; and a play room with Lego, Barbie dolls, bricks, costumes, and great space for role playing etc. In the daytime, we also use the indoor sports facilities next to the school for physical activities and motor skill development.
The SFO is open every day from 6.30 AM, where the children can stay with the kindergarten children in Børnehuset. At approximately 7 AM, an adult will go with them to the school’s gym, where they arrange for different activities. In the afternoon, the SFO opens when the school day is over and closes at 4.30 PM Monday through Thursday and at 4 PM on Fridays.
On our Facebook page and in the image gallery on our website, we will continuously upload images displaying the everyday life in the SFO.
